Smart, attractive, DC-native who is often described by friends as a little insane, over-the-top, and excessive but is admittedly adored widely by the same detractors. To facilitate my lifestyle, I've embarked upon a career in management consulting for a big-5 type firm when I have developed a number of skills that allow me to work in several different areas. Although I love what I do, I don't let it rule my life in any capacity. I enjoy travelling abroad to visit friends, attending festivals including New Orleans Jazzfest and running with the bulls in Pamplona, and going out to see shows and checking out new bars and beers. I adore spending time with my family, especially my nephews, and although I find the idea of spending substantial amounts of time in the kitchen or performing other domestic tasks a little daunting, I do like the idea of nesting in between forays into distant lands.

I communicate very clearly, when I find it worth while to do so. Romantic. I work a lot. Used to divide my time between my full-time job, performing/directing/producing professional theatre, consulting, + progressive democratic politics. My career leapt unexpectedly into high-gear two years ago - now job=life. I do know how to have a little fun with my job, though. Trying to balance my focus a little but and regain a fraction of my formal social glory... Born with a physical disability, making me physically reliant in certain respects + emotionally self-sufficient to a fault?. Any details you desire can be asked in one-on-one communication. Randomness: I don't belong in DC but I've been stuck here for almost 10 years. NYC is more my style, but I'm not certain I'd want to live there forever. I love warm weather. I cannot stand apathy! Non-white men smile at me and flirt with me more on the Metro and everywhere else - and I don't mind a bit!I have theories on this topic. If you haven't met with notable adversity and/or been out-and-out discriminated against for some immutable characteristic, we probably won't work in the long run. It's sad, but so far true... Well, I'm still a little unsure about this whole online thing, but hey... I'm a professional in the defense contract world living in the Arlington, VA/DC area. I have a TON of hobbies, so finding something to do is never a problem!!! I enjoy spending time with my friends, either going out or just staying in playing games. I've been known to have a sarcastic sense of humor (some might even say leaning towards the smart-ass category). Definitely need to have a good sense of humor if you're going to be hanging out with me. A few must haves include baseball (specifically the Phillies), a good book and the Simpsons.
